HOME SCHOOL
CORE Home School Soccer Training is a great way to interact with a CORE trainer, while never leaving your home. Best of ALL, it’s not Virtual - it is ALL LIVE. Here is how it works!
When you go to register for the CORE Home School Soccer Training, you pick your date, you pick your time and a our CORE trainer will come to your home and set up a full training session in your own Driveway.
We will take all the CDC precautions as well as social distancing measures so that we will establish a very safe environment. Everyone’s safety, plus the ability to have this positive interaction is and will be paramount to the success of this program. All equipment used will be sanitized and cleaned thoroughly before and after each session in accordance to all CDC standards.
Once our Trainer arrives, he will set up your Driveway into different circuit training activities prior to your child coming outside to train. Once set up, both the child and our CORE Trainer will work independently on age specific drills and game challenging activities. This Child/Trainer interaction will introduce exercise, ball skill training, self awareness and the ability to problem solve. Parents are asked to sit back, relax and watch the interactive training session. CORE suggests that Parents video these sessions for future viewing with your child. Watching these videos with your child will allow great teaching moments for exploring your child’s abilities and to help them improve on their OWN skill set.
This personal training program will run 45 minutes in length and will be organized based on age specific (4-6 yrs – 7-9 yrs – 10-12 yrs), skill specific, as well as player’s abilities. All sessions can and will be advanced and made more difficult if at all possible based on the players abilities. The initial cost of this program will be ONLY $35 per session. The normal price for a personal one-on-one training is $50-$100 per session. We believe that during these trying times giving back and reducing our price is something we must do. Giving back is what CORE Soccer Training has always done and we feel it has been extremely successful over the years.
Space is limited, hope to see you soon!

FIRST TOUCH - PLAY TIME (AGES 2-3)
First Touch Playtime (Ages 2-3yrs.) This is a Parent/Child participation program. We will have many activities that directly relate to motor skill development. Each class will consist of FUN interactive games, with the use of many different props. "First Touch Interactive Story Telling" will help the little ones understand Participation, Sportsmanship, Sharing and Team concepts along with the basic skills of soccer. Our main goal with this Program is to offer a FUNDAMENTAL approach using exercise and Parent/Child bonding time as our main focus. Each class will be approximately 40-45 minutes in length).

FIRST TOUCH – BALL SKILLS (AGES 4-5)
First Touch (4-5 yrs.) This is a true introduction to soccer with our main focus to be on balance, coordination and the understanding of how the body moves. We will cover the basic Ball Skills needed to play the game of soccer with the emphasis on the individual player's development; (1 v 1 moves, passing, receiving, dribbling and finishing). During our instruction of each skill we will be introducing many Fun games that make the learning process more exciting and challenging for each participant. (Each class will be approximately 50-55 minutes in length).

CORE BALL SKILLS (AGES 6-12)
Ball Skills (6-18 yrs.) The Field Player program has five stages of development; Ball Mastery/Dribbling, Passing/Receiving, Attacking/Defending, Striking/Finishing, and Group/Game Play. (Each class will be approximately 50-55 minutes in length).

CORE ADVANCED BALL SKILLS (AGES 13-18)
This four week, (one day per week) Advanced Skills program takes the next step up utilizing our “CORE Soccer Training System.” (Each class will be approximately 50-55 minutes in length). These Players will increase their understanding and the importance of the five stages; Ball Mastery/Dribbling, Passing/Receiving, Attacking/Defending, Striking/Finishing, and Group/Game Play. This Advanced program will increase body awareness, self-efficacy, technical proficiency, and tactical understanding of all positions thus improving the overall success of the player. Only through quality repetition and commitment can a player attain their full potential; this requires players to “become comfortable being uncomfortable.” These program participants are expected to step outside their comfort zone in an effort to elevate their level of play.

CORE GOALKEEPER TRAINING (AGES 6-12)
The Goalkeeper program has five stages of development; Footwork/Balance, Ball Handling/Boxing, Diving/BreakAways, Shot Stopping/Crosses, and Angles/Distribution. At this level our main focus will be on technical Player development. (Each class will be approximately 50-55 minutes in length).

CORE ADVANCED GOALKEEPER TRAINING (AGES 13-18)
This four week, (one day per week) Advanced Goalkeeper program takes the next step in our “CORE Soccer Training System.” (Each class will be approximately 50-55 minutes in length). These Goalkeepers will increase their understanding and the importance of the five stages; Footwork/Balance, Ball Handling/Boxing, Diving/Breakaways, Shot Stopping/Crosses, and Angles/Distribution. This Advanced program will increase body mobility, body awareness, technical proficiency, tactical understanding and most of all self efficacy of their own abilities. Goalkeeping is a unique position that a mistake normally has a bad result. Knowing this, we strive to work on the mental side of the position as well as the physical side. “A mentally strong Goalkeeper can out-perform his opponent just by knowing their abilities and staying within themselves.”

JAMIE SWANNER
OWNER / DIRECTOR / HEAD COACH
CORE Director Jamie Swanner started his CORE Programs over 25 years ago with the introduction of First Touch Soccer. This single program has evolved into one of the top training programs in the area. The development of the complete player is what many say separates his program from the others. Coach Swanner is a U.S.S.F. license Coach, has over 30 years of coaching experience at all levels including Youth, High School, Collegiate, ODP Ohio/New York and at the Professional level. As a player, he has participated in the Olympics, U.S. National Outdoor and US National Indoor teams and played 17 years as a professional goalkeeper. His coaching experience with youth, adult, male and female both field players as well as goalkeeper’s gives him the ability to evaluate and develop these types of programs that will enhance the overall player development process.
At the highest levels of soccer, over the course of a 90-minute game, many professional players have less than 5 minutes actually touching the ball. With so little time for an individual to make an impact, how important do you feel each moment actually is? At CORE we believe they are massively important and we encourage each athlete to make an impact with every moment. CORE strives to instill this basic principle in every player: “The quality of their moments is what defines them, not the quantity and ‘There are no ordinary moments’”.
