STREET MAINTENANCE WORKER/PARKS GROUNDSKEEPER
The City of Dardenne Prairie currently has an opening for a full-time street maintenance worker/parks groundskeeper. The main duties include filling of potholes; minor concrete removal and repair; setting-up of safe work zones; minor maintenance and repair of streets; storm sewers and other infrastructure. Other duties may include maintaining and cleaning parks and recreational grounds, and other City property; right-of-way maintenance including removal of brush and tree trimming; mowing and trimming vegetation using a variety of manual and power equipment; performing turf maintenance, dirt work, lining, base setting, and cleaning of buildings and grounds in the routine preparation of athletic fields; and removing and disposing of debris from parks and other City property. The successful candidate must be a self-motivated person and have a good work ethic.
The starting pay is $18 per hour. The City of Dardenne Prairie provides full-time employees with a comprehensive benefits package.
