The residents of Dardenne Prairie are to be commended for their response to the 2020 Census. The City of Dardenne Prairie is ranked 25th in the entire country with a response rate of 82.3%. Across the nation, the response rate has been 53.7% with over 79 million households participating. Dardenne Prairie is second in Missouri, only behind the Village of Vandiver with 77 residents. Being included in the Census is important because the population count determines how much funding is received from various governmental programs. The citizens of Dardenne Prairie truly want to “shape their future”.
