You must appear in court if:

You are 17 years old or younger (a parent or guardian must be present)
Speeding 25 or more over the posted limit
For housing code violations
For traffic cases involving an accident
Any case that may not be paid through the Violations Bureau

Forms of Payment Accepted:

  • At the court window:  Cash or money order
  • Mail and drop box:  money order
  • Make sure to include the following information if leaving money in drop box or by mail:
    • Name, Address, case number, phone number and, if wanting a receipt, email address or self-addresses, stamped envelope. 
    • If accepting a recommendation, the signed recommendation must be presented with the payment, along with the above contact information. 
  • No personal checks are accepted.
  • After Hours Drop-Box:   A drop-box located on the north side (by the City Hall Park parking lot) of the City Hall building may be used after 4:30 pm for payment.
If making your payment online before the first court date, you will be able to pay by credit/debit card on Case.net.  If after the first court date, you can only pay in person, at the drop box or by mail with the acceptable forms of payment listed above
