Start here if you are a resident, property owner, or HOA representative looking for help with drainage, storm sewer connections, City road projects, stormwater pollution, or neighborhood stormwater facilities.
I need help with...
- Report a drainage concern - for standing water, blocked storm drains, erosion, runoff, or water flowing in a way that may affect public infrastructure.
- Apply for a storm sewer connection permit - for sump pump, yard drain, or private drainage connection requests.
- View road project updates - for City construction updates, paving work, closures, and project schedules.
- Find HOA detention basin information - for HOA common ground, detention basin maintenance, inspections, and stormwater facility questions.
- Report pollution or dumping into a storm drain - for oil, chemicals, paint, concrete washout, grass clippings, sewage, or unusual discharge entering a storm drain or creek.
Who handles this?
- Engineering may help with public drainage infrastructure, storm sewer connections, City road projects, right-of-way questions, public easements, development improvements, erosion control, and stormwater requirements.
- Some issues may need to be handled by the property owner, HOA, utility provider, or another agency, including private property disputes, private drainage systems not connected to City infrastructure, HOA-maintained basins, utility billing, water or sewer service billing, or issues outside City jurisdiction.
- If you are unsure whether your concern is City, private, or HOA responsibility, submit the concern with the best location information you have and staff can help route it.
Before you contact us
- Take photos or video of the issue when it is happening, if it is safe to do so.
- Write down the address, nearby intersection, subdivision name, or nearest landmark.
- Include the date and time the issue was observed.
- Describe whether the issue appears to be on private property, City right-of-way, a drainage easement, or HOA common ground.
- Tell us whether water is entering a structure, covering a street or sidewalk, causing erosion, or creating a safety concern.
