Georgetown Park
Georgetown Park is just over 1/3 of an acre located at the corner of Feise and Henke Road. The beautifully landscaped park was acquired from Arbor Homes. Arbor Homes dedicated Georgetown Park and the monument to the fallen soldiers on both sides of the Civil War whose sacrifice serves as a constant reminder that " A house divided against itself cannot stand... a government cannot endure half slave and half free". The statue is a reminder of this important event in American history.
Barathaven Park
This 90 acre park is along Dardenne Creek. There is a public trail, with connections to residential, commercial and institutional areas within the Barathaven development and its surroundings. The park includes 3 miles of trails, a 15-acre lake, recreational fields and other public amenities.
Dardenne Prairie City Hall Park
Our community park, located behind City Hall at 2032 Hanley Road, opened in September of 2011 and is already a popular spot for families of Dardenne Prairie and surrounding areas.
A few of the features of the park...
A beautiful Band Stand Pavilion and Amphitheater. The Amphitheater will provide relaxed seating for the many events that will be taking place at the Bandstand. "The Spray Ground Play Ground" is sure to be a popular place on a hot summer's day. The Concession Stand will offer food and beverages to complement the various events taking place and provide clean, accessible rest rooms.
At our 2011 Annual Easter Egg Hunt, the children of Dardenne Prairie voted on the selection of the 2 Playground Areas so both are kid approved!
