The Municipal Court office will be closed from May 20th – May 24th. If making payments: 1) use the drop box located on the outside, northern end of the building, (Park, parking lot side.) Add a self-addressed envelope and a receipt will be mailed to you. Cases in Dardenne Prairie Municipal Court involve alleged violations of City ordinances.
Municipal Court is generally held the fourth Wednesday or Thursday of the month at 6:30 p.m. at Dardenne Prairie City Hall. Check the City Calendar for specific dates, especially during weeks containing a holiday.
If you signed a citation in front of an officer, you did not plead guilty, but only signed a promise to appear in court on your appearance date. If you choose to seek the service of an attorney, you must do so before the scheduled court date. Tickets/Fines can be paid by mail, in person at City Hall, Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 4:30pm, or after hours at the drop box on the north side of the City Hall building. If you would like a paid receipt include a self-addressed stamped envelope with your payment. WE DO NOT ACCEPT PERSONAL CHECKS. We accept cash, cashiers check or money orders. You can also make payments online at www.trafficpayment.com (there is a fee for this service). All moving violations are reported to the Department of Revenue and may be subject to point assessments. ATTORNEYS: To enter by mail, send your entry of appearance and request for recommendation along with the driver history and a self-addressed stamped envelope to Court Clerk.
